The Sweater is the first Armor available to the player. The Sweater is obtained by interacting with the dresser in Lore's Room.
Although Baron insists that you take the Sweater, attempting to leave Lore's Room 3 times will allow you to leave without it. This isn't very useful unless the player is speedrunning, where having less Health allows you to die faster in the Barghest's tutorial fight.
